About the Instructor
Prior to emigrating from South Africa to the United States in 1985, Marcus vandeVliet obtained a degree in Horticulture, managed a garden center in Johannesburg, and served in the South African Intelligence Corps during the Angolan/Namibian War. Over the next 20 years, Marcus worked with several landscape companies and started his own consulting firm, MV Consulting, in 2004. By leading the Masters in Landscape Business Management Program, he is again showing his commitment to improving the professionalism and profitability of the landscape industry.

About the Program
The Masters in Landscape Business Management program is targeted towards owners and General Managers of small-to-medium landscape installation firms. This program is built on the core principle of ensuring you walk away with real world tools and knowledge that will immediately improve your business. More than theory, you will learn systems and ideas that are already used in many successful companies.

"The ANLA Landscape Division Board is proud to offer this unique educational program to ANLA members. Working with Marcus, we have developed a program that addresses the issues that we as owners and managers of landscape design build firms face every day. The Landscape Masters in Business Management is for anyone who is ready to take their landscape design/build firm to the next level."
