Boxwood Blight is a new plant disease, first confirmed in the US in October, 2011. It threatens one of our industry's cornerstone crops. The disease can cause significant defoliation and branch dieback to infected plants. It has already caused significant losses and costs for major US nurseries. ANLA and the Horticultural Research Institute are coordinating America's efforts to study, manage and fight this disease while ensuring a sound national approach to regulation to prevent the disruption of shipping, selling and planting.
