The season opener introduces you to our expert panel of judges: 9th generation Horticulturist and Garden Designer Joseph Hillenmeyer; from Better Homes and Gardens' www.BHG.com, Justin Hancock; with a storied career at Disney, the American Horticultural Society and now on the board of America In Bloom, Katy Moss Warner; and third generation retailer, Calvin Bordine. Monday, April 19 Round 1: Plants Nouveau
Round 1 of Garden Idol serves up a hot 2010 line up from Plants Nouveau. Angela Treadwell-Palmer serves up more variety, more costume changes and more entertainment than you ever thought a new-plant presentation could deliver! If Lobelia 'Fried Green Tomatoes' doesn't have you shouting "Towanda!" then Echinacea 'Milk Shake' will convince you that Angela's 'Milkshake' is better than yours! Only on Garden Idol.

Wednesday, April 21 Round 2: Bailey Nurseries
The studio audience leaps out of their chairs for Jonathan Pedersen's "Plants on the Ground," but the judges had serious doubts about another two Hydrangeas from Bailey Nurseries. Is it 'Tickled Pink' or 'Vanilla Strawberry' that change their mind? Two hot introductions for 2010 and the most surprising response from our judges yet, here on Garden Idol.

Friday, April 23 Round 3: Monrovia Growers
Chris Rubino takes this season's biggest risk presenting an entire slate of Peonies. Out of two new introductions from Monrovia, Chris proclaims that he has been waiting five years for the Itoh series. With his fellow contestants bringing great diversity to the table can Monrovia make it's mark with this one old-school genus? (Hint: one of these made our judges top ten!) Linda Guy rocks out a slate of five hot new plants in Novalis' 2010 chart-topping line up. The diversity of plant genera and music genres inspire the judges. Monday, May 3 Round 7: Hort Couture
From a sentimental favorite to the runways of Louisville Fashion Week, Susie Raker debuts Tutu-draped Vincas and struts her Calibrachoa on the Catwalk. Her cocktail-inspired tropical earns unanimous, rave reviews, and judge Justin finds two looks "sexy as hell," but what plant is shockingly called "not tasty?" Find out on Garden Idol.
