Alternate hotel fee $150
ANLA is able to keep our registration prices low by negotiating pricing on costs like meals and meeting space. Part of that negotiation includes a commitment to fill a certain number of rooms at the hotel. The size of that "room block" is also important in negotiating our discounted room rate.
While we certainly understand that some attendees will choose to stay at other hotels to secure loyalty points or take advantage of last minute discounts, ANLA needs to account for the additional cost to the meeting. This year ANLA has instituted a $150 per person non-host hotel fee for each attendee choosing not to stay at the Galt House Hotel and Suites. If you decide to stay elsewhere, you can pay this fee during your registration process.
