Corey J. Connors is Director of Legislative Relations for the American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA), the Washington, DC based trade association representing over 2,300 firms who grow, sell, and use landscape plants. He is responsible for overseeing ANLA's legislative advocacy program including initiatives involving labor and immigration reform, the Farm Bill, environmental, tax and small business issues. He also manages the activities of the ANLA-Political Action Committee.
Before joining the ANLA staff, Corey was Government Relations Manager for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, where his responsibilities included H-2B and immigration reform, state association relations, and management of the organization's political action committee. He has also served on the staffs of U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and City of Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl (D-PA).
Corey received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Clarion University in 2000, and a Master of Arts in Political Management from the George Washington University in 2003.
